Business Meeting Brunch at Rac's house

The business meetings are brainstorming sessions to create great events, to approve new members, and to discuss old and new club business. Come and take part in the action.  
Doors open at 9:30am, 1 hour meeting starting at 10:00.  Following the meeting we will have brunch so bring a dish.  Normal house party admission will apply to the brunch (with dish: $3 for members, $5 for non, without dish: $10.  First time prospects free).
Note: If you know someone who is just shy of the height requirement and would like to join STC, this is the meeting to come to.  They can get measured in the morning which is when they will be at their tallest.

Stockton Asparagus Festival

1st meeting: 10 AM outside the front gate.
2nd meeting: 1 PM outside the Spear-Its of the Valley wine and beer pavilion

Join me for a day of good food, good music and good fun at the 17th Annual Stockton Asparagus Festival!! There are tons of things to do and see for the whole family, so bring the kids if you want to. I plan on getting there when the gates open at 10 AM, so if you want to meet me outside the front gate just before 10 AM, that would be great! Otherwise, I will meet folks in front of the Spear-Its of the Valley wine and beer pavilion (check the festival map for this years location) at 1 PM. Hope to see you there!

Oak Grove Regional Park
I-5 and Eight Mile Rd.,
Stockton, CA.

Directions: Oak Grove Regional Park - just north of Stockton, at I-5 and Eight Mile Road.

From the Bay Area take 580/205 past Tracy and on through Stockton on I-5, exit at Eight Mile Road.

From Sacramento, Lodi, or anywhere north of Stockton, take I-5 south and exit at Eight Mile Road, or take Highway 99 south and exit at Eight Mile Road, then travel west (to your right) approximately 4 miles.

From Modesto and points south of Stockton, take Highway 99 or I-5 north, and exit at Eight Mile Road.

Cost: Ages 12 and Under: FREE, thanks to Union Safe Deposit Bank.
Teens ages 13-17 $5 (groups of 20 or more $4)
Adults: $8 (groups of 20 or more $6)
Seniors: $5 (groups of 20 or more $4)

Parking:
  $3 per vehicle. 

The Festival committee has greatly improved parking from last year's accommodations. The parking grounds will be much more level and cleaner, but remember our parking lot is on agricultural ground! Although we have reserved handicap parking spaces, it is not handicap friendly, so we suggest the...

AsparaBus Shuttle: Saturday and Sunday, 9am - 7:00pm, every 15 minutes. $3 per person roundtrip to and from the Festival gates for adults and seniors (kids are free!) with purchase of a Festival ticket.

The pick up site is at Delta College in the Shima Parking Lot - parking there is free! Shuttles start at 9 am both days and leave the Shima lot every 15 minutes all day. Riders are delivered directly to the main entrance of the festival, ready for a day of fun. Shuttles leave the park for a return trip to Delta College approximately every 15 minutes all day long, both days. The last shuttle leaves the festival at approximately 7:00 pm each day.
