The Goods and Services Auction turned out to be a very fun event. Around 50 people attended. The leg auction revealed the true beauty of the legs of one of our male members which were purchased by another prominent male member who dutifully fulfilled his servile duties for the evening as did other servants whose legs were bought. Lasagna dinner actually was ample with plenty of leftovers and everyone was well-fed. The auctioneer par excellence, Red Banes, did an exemplary job and raised the bar of spending per capita raising a goodly amount (still to be determined but around $1500). Vanna (Kimberly B.) and Vanna2 (Ruthanne) did a dazzling job of assisting with the donated gifts. The facility worked wonderfully and having two rooms was a great new addition for us. We appreciate that Swallow's Nest is available to us. 

Helpers who arrived early, much appreciated if I do say so, were prospect Jim McMasters, Kent Ferguson, Jeff Duerr and Marcia Elliott. Those who stayed to help do a "white glove" cleanup were cheerfully willing to assist wherever needed and that was great. What a wonderful bunch of folks. Now many of us will be collecting our services and goods. Thanks to those who donated and for those who got businesses to donate (Don't forget the thank you notes on STC letterhead).
