Pageant and Toga Party Saturday, March 16, 2002
Hi Talls,
If you didn't make it to the Toga
Party, you missed another great event. Kudos to Carol, Cleve and
their helpers. A wonderful time was had by all and we selected the
STC Queen to be our representative to the convention.
Congratulations to Ruthanne C.
(better known as rac) resplendent in her gold gown, a sight to enjoy.
Also to the very eye-catching Sherree as first runner-up (and when rac
becomes TCI Queen, the future STC Queen) congrats. Despite the
lack of a good cat-fight between the candidates (ok, so it's a guy
thing) I'd like to extend my thanks to two ladies who conducted a very
classy and fun campaign, and to Colleen Stoner who ran but was unable to
join the festivities due to job commitments. I'm proud to be part
of a club that is represented by rac and Sherree.

| Tall
Ships Tour at Jack London Square Saturday, March 23, 2002 Even though the rain clouds threatened, there was a good turn-out for the trip to see the Tall Ships at Jack London Square in Oakland. Besides some folks from our own Sacramento Tall Club, there were also folks from Golden Gate Tip Toppers, Tall Club of Silicon Valley and Redwood Empire's Tall Club.
