TGIFs are what we call the events we hold almost every Friday evening. For those who have not been to a TGIF recently, and for prospects, here's how it works: We visit a variety of fine Sacramento area establishments, varying the locations so that we are sure to be in YOUR neighborhood at least once during the month. We gather in the bar (most places have one) for an hour or two, sometimes longer(!), for mingling and chatting. Those who choose to can stay for dinner, or, if you prefer, you can stay in the bar and chat more or go on about your evening. For those who stay, sometimes we go out dancing or to a movie after dinner. If you want to come for dinner, we ask that you be at the restaurant by 7pm so that we can tell the hostess how many we have for dinner. TGIFs start anytime between 5:00pm and 6:30pm, depending on when the host is able to get there. Many of our members choose not to drink alcohol, so if you are a non-drinker, you are in good company. And, we usually schedule one TGIF a month that is not at a bar, so that everyone can find an environment in which they can feel comfortable. Come out and join us this month... we always have a great time!
